Museum of Making Membership Package

Welcome to the Museum of Making membership scheme: an original and exciting membership option for the makers of today.

The Workshop is fully fitted out with a large variety of machinery and equipment available to hire, including CNC machine, laser cutters, textiles, woodwork, and metalwork equipment. Hire a workbench with tools, or book to use a specific piece of machinery such as our CNC machine or laser cutter. Onsite technician support is always available.

By becoming a member you will join a creative community where you can network, share ideas, access peer support, learn, teach and be part of the creative conversations within the Museum of Making.*

Through membership you will gain access to a network of likeminded, creative, and innovative people who have come together to join a maker community. A calendar of membership events will run throughout the year, meaning there is always chances to connect with others.

 As part of this exclusive membership package, you will receive:

• 1 year of Museum of Making membership which entitles you to access our online member’s portal and book equipment in the Workshop, onsite technician support, 25% discount in The River Kitchen and invites to member’s events and socials.
• 1 Workshop Induction to learn about the equipment available to book.
• 1 Consultation slot with a member of our Workshop Technician team to discuss your project and learn from their expertise.
• 1 Museum of Making carpenters pencil and notepad to help you shape your ideas.

Please note that this package is designed to get the recipient started in the Workshop, and when booking Workshop equipment there will be an additional charge. Complex workshop machinery is bookable at £8ph, and workbenches at £4ph – rates are subject to change*
